Wednesday Results (May 26)

Terre Haute Action Track

Terre Haute rarely disappoints and it did not on Wednesday night as the track provided for an intense battle for the lead for the majority of the 30 lap Tony Hulman Classic.

Thomas Meseraull, who started on the pole, jumped out to an early lead but was quickly trailed by 2015 USAC sprint car champion Robert Ballou. Ballou jumped to the lead inside of the first 10 laps but the pass was cancelled out by a caution simultaneously.

Upon the restart "T-Mez" and the "Mad Man" battled, trading the lead, before Ballou was able to make his way around, stretch out his lead, and ultimately take the checkered flag first.

Meseraull was able to hang on for second as Jon Stanbrough rounded out the podium for the USAC sprint cars who will next be in action in June for the Eastern Storm.
