The state of Indiana was in a frenzy today as we approach the 100th running of Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. Cars were in action all over the state from Anderson Speedway, Lucas Oil Raceway and of course the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
At Bloomington Speedway the 410 non-wing sprint cars were back in action as we celebrated the life of Josh Burton. Burton was killed in an accident at the track in May 2013 after winning the track rookie of the year award the year prior.
28 drivers made the call on Friday in honor of Burton with Brady Short winning the feature followed by Jordan Kinser and Jon Stanbrough.
Also worth noting, there were 16 305 RaceSaver sprint cars in action at Bloomington on Friday night.
