A monster weekend for sprint cars all over the state kicks off on Friday on the red clay of Bloomington Speedway.
Both the 410 non-wings and 305 RaceSavers will be in action along with UMP modifieds, super stocks and hornets.
The last time sprints were in action on April 29 it was Brady Short picking up the victory. The victory was his second of the year at Bloomington Speedway.

Plymouth Speedway
For the first time in the track's history the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will visit Plymouth.
The former pavement track was scheduled to host the series in 2015 but because of delays with ongoing improvements at the facility the event was postponed until this year.
Coming off of last weekends double header at Eldora Speedway alongside the USAC sprint cars, Brad Sweet leads the series points race by 97 points over defending champion Donny Schatz. However, the hot hand belongs to the Aussie, Kerry Madsen, who won on back-to-back nights at the Big E last weekend.

Tri-State Speedway
After running at Plymouth on Friday night the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars travel to Haubstadt to make their annual trip to Tri-State Speedway on Saturday evening.
Paul McMahan has won the last two WoO races at the track. He won last years race after a spirited battle with Brady Bacon.
Joining the Outlaws on Saturday night are the UMP modifieds.

Montpelier Motor Speedway
The World of Outlaws will not be the only winged sprint cars in action in Indiana on Saturday night.
The K&L Ready Mix NRA Sprint Invaders will invade MMS on Saturday for their first of two trips to the track in 2016. It is the second time sprint cars will take to the track in Montpelier this year.
The track, normally known for its UMP modifieds, has already hosted USAC this year and will also host MSCS and BOSS events in 2016 as they continue to become a more diverse and popular track.
Jared Horstman was victorious in the series' last trip to Montpelier in 2015.
Also in action on Saturday night will be UMP modifieds, super streets and thunder cars.

Lincoln Park Speedway
Sprints are once again back in action at LPS on Saturday evening when the track hosts Armed Forces Night. Military members with proper identification will receive a discount at the gate.
Brady Short picked up the win in Putnamville last weekend, his third win in 2016. Short was able to best Shane Cockrum, who had won the previous event at LPS, after five cars battled for the lead in the closing laps.
Also taking to the track on Saturday evening are the UMP modifieds, super stocks and bombers.

After rain caused the cancellation of racing back on April 30 the track rescheduled its King of the Midwest event for Saturday night.
The winner of Saturday night's feature will take home $2500 with a chance to pick up a $1000 bonus if he can repeat the feat in Sunday's King of Kokomo event at Kokomo Speedway.
Jarett Andretti took home the W last Saturday in Kelsey Chevrolet sprint car action. Also in action on the high banks in Lawrenceburg on Saturday night: UMP modifieds, pure stocks and hornets.

Kokomo Speedway
Kokomo is hoping that Mother Nature finally cooperates with track on Sunday evening. The tracks first three nights of racing scheduled for the 2016 season have fallen victim to rain, hopefully that streak does not run to four races this weekend.
Sunday night Kokomo Speedway will kick off its season with its King of Kokomo event. If the feature winner also won the King of the Midwest event on Saturday night at Lawrenceburg he will pick up a bonus of $1000.
Also in action: Thunder cars and hornets.
