Kokomo Speedway

If you are active on social media you have probably seen the hashtag #GYATK in one post or another. Tonight that hashtag was a true as it could have ever been as the feature provided one of the most exciting sprint car races of the season.

Kevin Thomas Jr. weathered the storm en route to his 3rd win in 7 days, holding off Shane Cottle in a photo finish after battling for a furious five laps after a late-race caution.

Cottle would come home second as Jerry Coons Jr. would round out the podium. Chris Windom finished fourth after charging hard for the lead early on before slipping a few spots late in the race while Dave Darland finished fifth. Darland was also the quickest qualifier out of the three group sessions that kicked off the evening.
