Brownstown Speedway

For the second night in a row the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Cars were in action in the Hoosier State, this time in Brownstown.

Tonight it was Kevin Thomas Jr getting the win, picking up his second win in as many weekends, leading from flag-to-flag in the 30-lap feature event. Brady Bacon made a late charge in the closing laps but could get no further than second while Dave Darland joined Thomas Jr. and Bacon on the podium finishing third.

Thomas Meseraull and CJ Leary rounded out the top five followed by Brady Short, Robert Ballou, Aaron Farney, Tyler Courtney and Kyle Cummins.

CJ Leary was the quick qualifier for the evening and in the process set a new track record with a 12.899 second lap.

The USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Cars are back in action on Wednesday night when they take on the Terre Haute Action Track.

Lincoln Park Speedway

Jeff Bland added his name to the winners list at Lincoln Park Speedway in 2016 on Saturday night. Bland was able to hold off Shane Cottle and Shane Cockrum to take home the win.

Nate McMillin and Kyle Simon rounded out the top five.

LPS will be back in action next Saturday night when they host the MSCS.

Lawrenceburg Speedway

With BOSS rained out for the evening Shawn Westerfeld decided to try his hand on the high banks of Lawrenceburg Speedway and made the most of it. Westerfeld took home his second win of the year at "The Burg" after starting P4 in the feature event.

Jarett Andretti and Joss Moffatt, both of which have also tallied victories at Lawrenceburg this season, joined Westerfeld on the podium. Dallas Hewitt and Drew Abel rounded out the top five.

Paragon Speedway

After weather got the best of last weekend's opener at Paragon Speedway the track finally opened up their 2016 campaign on Saturday evening.

Jake Scott got the win with Josh Cunningham and Travis Berryhill joining him on the podium.

Paragon is back in action next weekend, one of two Indiana dirt tracks in action the night before the Indianapolis 500.
