Bloomington Speedway

It took a little longer night than usual at Bloomington Speedway but that can be expected with five classes with a huge car count.

Brady Short's dominance came to an end on the red clay Friday night as Nick Bilbee picked up the win. Chris Windom finished second while Dakota Jackson took a break from his studies at Rose-Hulman to take third.

Jeff Bland finished fourth while Kevin Thomas Jr. rounded out the top five after transferring from the B-Main.

Rain invaded the track before the 305 feature could be ran.

Plymouth Speedway

With rain looming, the World of Outlaws moved up their feature to get their part of the show in at Plymouth on Friday night.

At the end of the 30 lap event it was Brad Sweet fending off teammate Daryn Pittman to pick up the win. However, the class of the field was David Gravel in third along with Greg Wilson who came from 14th and 15th respectively to tally Top 5's while others struggled to make passes at times. Joey Saldana rounded out the top five.

Other noteworthy drivers include Donny Schatz, of course, who came to sixth from 13th and Jason Johnson who finished 12th after starting from the tail.

Logan Schuchart was tonight's quick qualifier with a time of 11.526, a track record for the speedway in it's short history as a dirt track.

WoO's decision to move up their feature was a good one as the rain started as midgets ran with the third class, UMP modifieds, never making it to the track.
