Montpelier Motor Speedway

It was a packed house for round one of Indiana Midget Week at Montpelier Motor Speedway on Tuesday.

After some short delays for a few drops of rain it was Bryan Clauson continuing his hot streak.

Clauson won the feature event for sprint cars after a spirited battle with eventual winner Kyle Larson in the USAC midget feature. The win was Clauson's second of the week after picking up the win in the Kokomo Klassic on Sunday night following his 23rd place finish in the Indianapolis 500 earlier in the day

Brady Bacon and Jerry Coons Jr. rounded out the podium as Dave Darland and Chad Boespflug finished out the top five.

Sprints will be back in action Wednesday night as USAC Indiana Midget Week rolls onto Gas City I-69 Speedway.
