World of Outlaws preview @ LPS (June 8)

The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series returns to Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville on Wednesday night for the first time since 1988.

Entering the event Brad Sweet leads the series points standings by just 14 points over seven time and defending World of Outlaws champion, Donny Schatz. Schatz has 7 wins this season, the most among all series drivers.

Daryn Pittman also lingers close in the standings in third place, 97 points behind Sweet. The 2013 World of Outlaws champion has 4 wins this season.

In the series' most recent appearance, at I-96 Speedway in Michigan, David Gravel collected his third World of Outlaws win of the season in a rain shortened feature while Sweet ran third and Schatz fourth.

The MMSA mini-sprints will join the Outlaws on Wednesday in downtown Putnamville.
