USAC @ Lawrenceburg Results (April 2)

Dave Darland was able to make his right rear last just long enough to pick up his 58th career USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car win at Lawrenceburg on Saturday night.

The race was marred by a rubbered down track and multiple right rear failures. Robert Ballou lost a right rear after halfway while leading and other cars driven by Thomas Meseraull, Justin Grant, Brady Bacon and Aaron Farney also lost right rears while running inside the top five.

However, 'The People's Champ' Darland's Hoosier stayed together enabling him to pick up the win followed by CJ Leary and Scotty Weir on the podium. Chase Stockon and Max McGhee rounded out the top five.

Ballou, Meseraull, Grant and Farney were all able to salvage Top 10's after their tire woes.

CJ Leary was the evenings quick qualifier with a time of 13.861 in the Dutcher #17gp.
