After events at Brownstown and Lawrenceburg the past few weeks kicked off the season, this weekend we see the Indiana sprint car season kick into full gear. Here is where all the action is around the state on Friday and Saturday. Bloomington Speedway (CANCELLED)
Cars roll onto the track for the season opener on the red clay of Bloomington Speedway on Friday night. Brady Short will look to defend his track championship after winning his 5th consecutive track title in 2015. Also in action on Friday night: 305 Racesavers, UMP modifieds, super stocks & hornets.

Kokomo Speedway (CANCELLED)
The USAC National Midget Series invades Kokomo on Friday night for the first of their three series events at one of the baddest bullrings in the world. Along with them 410s make their first appearance of the year. With many of the normal sprint car heavy hitters driving USAC midgets, fans can expect many double duty drivers on the first of two nights of scheduled action. CJ Leary, hot off his USAC Silver Crown Sumar Classic victory is the defending track champion.

Lincoln Park Speedway (CANCELLED)
The bustling streets of Putnamville will come alive once again Saturday night as Lincoln Park Speedway also opens up their 2016 campaign with Bill Gardner's Indiana Open Wheel Racin' Fest. The event serves as season opener for the Midwest Sprint Car Series (MSCS) in which Brady Short took home the title in 2015. Scott Hampton is the reigning LPS track champion. Also in action on Saturday night are UMP modifieds, stocks, and bombers. Afterwards fans can enjoy fireworks.
