Smackdown V ticket renewals
If you had tickets to Smackdown IV at Kokomo Speedway you can now renew them through Feb. 7.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Feb 8 so if you had seats before I would renew them now to, in my opinion, the best dirt non-wing sprint car show there is.
Also, if you get the 3 day pass ($80.00) you get a pit pass for free if purchased before 3/31/2016.

Driver of the Week (August 4-10)
For the 4th time this season this weeks Indiana Sprint Car News Driver of the Week award goes to Brady Short.
Short swept the double-header weekend at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville adding two more feature wins to his tally for 2015. It's an impressive start to August for Short after a strong showing not only in July but the entire season thus far.
Short won his heat race on Friday and followed it up with a win in the feature. Saturday it was more of the same finishing second in his heat after a spirited battle with Jeff Bland Jr. and then going on to win the MSCS sanctioned feature event to complete the two night sweep.
With the win Brady Short moves into the lead in MSCS points by two points over Carson Short.

Gas City Results (July 31, 2015)
Although many drivers that fans are familiar with are currently taking part in either midget or Silver Crown action at the Belleville High Banks in Kansas there were still plenty of drivers on hand for last night's Indiana Sprint Car Series event at Gas City I-69 Speedway.

Robert Ballou was able to capture the win over a hard-charging Jon Stanbrough in the feature while Tyler Courtney captured the final position on the podium. Hunter Schuerenberg and Logan Jarrett rounded out the top five.
Gas City will finish out its season on September 4th for "Gas City Fall Fest". The ISCS will return to action on Sunday night at Kokomo.

Driver of the Week (June 9-15)
Congratulations and happy birthday to the Indiana Sprint Car News Driver of the Week Bryan Clauson. Clauson who has spent more time in a winged sprint car this year than a non-wing returned to the Indiana non-wing scene this week as he also took part in Indiana Midget Week.
Clauson started his week off with a bang by beating 34 other competitors in the sprint feature at Gas City I-69 Speedway on Wednesday and followed it up with another win on Friday evening on the red clay of Bloomington Speedway, a track that has more or less been dominated by Brady Short in 2015.
We felt it was fitting to reward Clauson with the award this week and hope to see him back a few more times this season in a non-wing car. Happy birthday BC.
