Friday, April 21

Bloomington Speedway Rained Out

Bloomington Speedway is back to business as usual this Friday after hosting the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Cars last weekend.

Chad Boespflug bested Chris Windom in a dramatic side by side battle over the final few laps to win what was also Bloomington Speedway's season opener while Ryan Tusing won the 305 RaceSaver feature.

This weekend Bloomington will host both classes of sprint cars as well as TQs and hornets.

Plymouth Speedway

The USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Cars return to action on Friday night when they take on Plymouth Speedway.

Entering the event Justin Grant still leads the points after two more top five finishes last weekend at Bloomington and Haubstadt. Grant, whom has finished no worse than fourth in any of the first five USAC sprint car races this season, holds a two point lead over Chad Boespflug.

Chris Windom, after picking up his second USAC national sprint car win of the season last weekend, has also entered the early season points battle sitting 39 points out of the lead in third place.

UMP modifieds and mod lites will also be on display Friday evening in Plymouth.

Saturday, April 22

Montpelier Motor Speedway Rained Out

The USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Cars will double down on action once again this weekend as they follow up Friday's event with another show on Saturday night. This time they will take on the Montpelier Motor Speedway.

It will be the series' second trip to the track after making their inaugural visit in 2016 when eventual series champion Brady Short picked up the victory.

UMP modifieds, super streets and thunder cars will join the sprint cars on Saturday.

Lincoln Park Speedway

Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville returns to action Saturday night and will feature sprint cars as part of the program for their Bomber Spring Fling event.

Last weekend we saw Kody Swanson pick up his first Indiana sprint car victory at LPS.

As mentioned before, bombers will be in action Saturday as well as super stocks and UMP modifieds.

Lawrenceburg Speedway Rained Out

The Kelsey Chevrolet sprint cars return to the high banks of Lawrenceburg on Saturday evening as the track hosts Service Men & Women Night. Any veteran or current armed forces member along with firefighters, police officers or EMS workers who present proper identification will be admitted for free.

Last weekend it was Nick Bilbee picking up his first win of the season. Entering Saturday's action Justin Owen has the early season lead in the track championship points. Owen leads by just 10 points over Michael Fischesser while former track champion Shawn Westerfeld sits 15 points behind Owen.

UMP modifieds, pure stocks and hornets will also be in action.
