Driver of the Week (August 4-10)

For the 4th time this season this weeks Indiana Sprint Car News Driver of the Week award goes to Brady Short.

Short swept the double-header weekend at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville adding two more feature wins to his tally for 2015. It's an impressive start to August for Short after a strong showing not only in July but the entire season thus far.

Short won his heat race on Friday and followed it up with a win in the feature. Saturday it was more of the same finishing second in his heat after a spirited battle with Jeff Bland Jr. and then going on to win the MSCS sanctioned feature event to complete the two night sweep.

With the win Brady Short moves into the lead in MSCS points by two points over Carson Short.

Gas City Results (July 31, 2015)

Although many drivers that fans are familiar with are currently taking part in either midget or Silver Crown action at the Belleville High Banks in Kansas there were still plenty of drivers on hand for last night's Indiana Sprint Car Series event at Gas City I-69 Speedway.

After some rain in the early evening the sun came out and it was a beautiful night for racing in Gas City. Robert Ballou was able to capture the win over a hard-charging Jon Stanbrough in the feature while Tyler Courtney captured the final position on the podium. Hunter Schuerenberg and Logan Jarrett rounded out the top five.

Gas City will finish out its season on September 4th for "Gas City Fall Fest". The ISCS will return to action on Sunday night at Kokomo.
